HAUPPAUGE, NY (Nov 19, 2014) Custom Computer Specialists, Inc. (“Custom”), a leading IT services provider announced today the promotion of Alan Lacher to President of CustomTech Software, its newly branded software and services division.
Alan joined Custom in 2004 as Director, was promoted to Vice President in 2007 and Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2011. As COO, Alan was responsible for strategy development and operations for Custom’s Application Services division. Focusing on the education and healthcare markets, CustomTech Software counts both Infinite Campus™ and HI-IQ® among its key offerings.

Prior to joining Custom, Alan spent 10 years delivering enterprise technology solutions for companies like Accenture and WinMill Software. “I am excited to have this opportunity to lead the advancement of our existing solutions and to delight our clients with new innovations.” says Alan. “As the education and healthcare industries face continuous changes in technology, process and regulation, we will continue providing software solutions that enable their success.”
Alan holds a BBA in Management Information Systems and Business Administration from the University at Albany, State University of New York. In addition, he completed Executive Education programs in Strategy and Marketing at Wharton, University of Pennsylvania.
